The role of School Host involves creating a pleasant environment at the school where the teams stay. You will be part of a school team that is collectively responsible for service, cleaning, maintenance, and information for the teams, as well as ensuring that safety at the school is maintained in a structured and responsible manner. You and your school team will live and sleep at the school throughout the tournament.

You are responsible for contacting your Team Leader, attending training sessions, and completing a digital training that familiarizes you with the requirements for the role. There will also be preparations at the school before the teams' arrival, and as a School Host, you must have completed mandatory fire safety training.

We are looking for someone who enjoys teamwork and is not afraid to pitch in when needed! You are the school's face to the outside world and contribute to a safe, and welcoming environment. With a positive attitude, grit, and a solution-oriented approach, you tackle challenges with determination!

We prefer that you have a few years of experience in the workforce or post-secondary education.

The assignment runs from July 11-19, 2026

As a School Host, you will gain new experiences, receive meals during the tournament days, functional clothing, training, and a financial compensation of 7,000 SEK gross.

Gothia Cup is the world's largest and most international youth football tournament. Every year, around 1900 teams from 75 nations participate. It is the teams and participants from all corners of the world, together with over 2000 volunteers, who create a meeting place for the world's youth, regardless of religion, skin color, or nationality, with football as the common denominator.
